  15. Purpose:
  16. ========
  17. To edit the names you can enter when you start the Emerald Mine Game.
  18.  
  19. Although the program is quit selfexplainary, here are a few notes.

  21. Type NamEdit [device/path]
  22.  
  23. Device:
  24.     Just enter the path where the program has to find the NAM file.
  25.     Example: NamEdit df1:
  26.              NamEdit dh0:em
  27.  
  28. Now you get a new screen with 2 sections (SINGLE and TEAMWORK)
  29. Press A-J for a SINGLE player entry or
  30.       K-T for TEAMWORK
  31. Here you can press X to quit (WITHOUT SAVING) or Z to save.

  33. When you pressed A-T you get a new screen were you can enter 5 items.
  34. NAME    enter a new name or press (RETURN) for no change.
  35.         the maximum is 10 characters (RETURN) for no change.
  36. LEVEL   the last level a player has reached,(RETURN) for no change.
  37. SCORE   total score so far, (RETURN) for no change.
  38. PLAYED  total number of times the player has played,(RETURN) for no change.
  39. WON     normally the same as LEVEL (RETURN), for no change.
  40.         (when you have reached level 80, the game program stops updating)

  42. After editing you come back in the first screen were you can enter a
  43. new letter or X to quit or Z to save.
